In this 14 hour class you will learn to construct and forge weld your very own canister Damascus billet for your own use at a latter date. We will start by learning to choose the right materials (provided in the class), construct the canister, fill the canister with all the right materials, forge weld the canister into a solid billet and finally remove the canister to reveal your vey own creation.
This class will use the hydraulic press, power hammer and conventional hammer and anvil to complete the project. No prior experience necessary but basic blacksmithing knowledge is encouraged.
