Get an introduction to the history, safety, tools and techniques of this ancient art. Leave the shop confident in your abilities, and holding your first forged steel creation.

Students will become familiar with the very fundamentals of blacksmithing — steel, hammer, tongs, forge and anvil — and learn a few basic techniques for shaping metal, such as tapering, scrolling, twisting and fullering.
